Highland Park

The northern-most whisky distillery in the world, Highland Park is situated on mainland Orkney on the Orkney Isles. The distillery was built in 1798 making it one of the oldest whisky producers in Scotland. Highland Park’s single malt has become extremely popular in recent years and is one of the best selling whiskies at present.

The MO ÒR Highland Park from 1986 has got today’s reputation combined with the traditional quality of the past.

Tasting Notes

Nose: A seabreeze in a glass. But a very allround one indeed. Notes of sweet smoke, spices and salty freshness. A sniff of a sigarbox as well.

Taste: Lots of liqourice root present. Roasted almonds in there and more seasoned nuts in the background.

Finish: Great finish with a mixture of salty freshness, sweet notes and a hint of smokiness.
