Aberlour

The Aberlour Distillery lies in the heart of Spey valley. The distillery was built in 1879, with most of its historical character been preserved to this day. Interestingly enough, Aberlour is the best selling single malt in France. Maybe that has to do with the fact that Pernod Ricard is the owner of Aberlour Distillery, on the other hand, there aren’t many whisky brands who are so consistent in delivering a quality dram. The MO ÒR Aberlour from 1990 combines a complex and typical Speyside palate with a very finsh which lasts for eternity.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Apricot and pear, with toffee in the background and a hint of oak.

Taste: Creamy texture with fresh oak, nuts and some spicey notes.

Finish: Sweet, soft and fresh with oaky sensations drifting into view as well.
