Longmorn

The Longmorn Distillery was established in 1894 and is one of the very few distilleries that has never stopped production. It is also a single malt which is highly rated within the industry for its complexity, especially at advanced age.

The MO ÒR Longmorn from 1988 is a funny little whisky. After opening it needs a bit of time (and a drop of water) before drinking, as it will slowly open up to reveal all of its sophisticated characteristics.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Wonderfully sweet and fruity. Tropical fruits like pear and bananas. Also mint and honey emerge in the nose.

Taste: Peppery with hints of citrus fruits and cacao.

Finish: Ripe fruits, cedar wood and nuts.
